Overview
This safari will take you to both northern and southern hemispheres of the equator with a chance to see the different subspecies found in the different region covered by this safari, you also get a chance to visit the Olpejeta conservancy which is doing a successful Rhinos protection.
Itinerary
You will be picked up at your hotel or at the airport by our office representative, after a comprehensive safari briefing you will board the safari car and drive through the central part of Kenya as you view the country side which is rich in agriculture such as coffee and pineapple farming, You will arrive at the Olpejeta Conservancy in time for lunch, enjoy an evening safari with a chance to see Lions, Cheetahs, Black and white rhinos and also get a chance to visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary which is home to Chimpanzees that were rescued from west Africa where they were being tortured and butchered for bush meat. Dinner and overnight at the Serena Sweetwaters tented camp
Depart after breakfast and drive through the equator with a stopover for a photos session, continue driving to arrive in Naivasha in time for lunch at the Sopa Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon Boat ride at the lake which has over 400 different species such as fish eagles, pelicans, comorants, king fishers among other birds, lake Naivasha is also home to many wildlife such as: Hippos, wildebeests, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Gazelles among others, dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
After breakfast you will drive on the floor of the Great Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch at the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, relax in the hotel after lunch. At 1600 hours enjoy an exciting evening game drive at the reserve with chances to see Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Impalas, Zebras, Wildebeests, Gazelles, Hyenas among others, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ashnil mara camp
This day is spent exploring the park with an early morning and a late evening game drive or you can opt for a full day game drive and drive slowly to Mara River where the massive migration and river crossing of wildebeests take place annually between July and September which is also referred to as the seventh wonder of the world, Masai Mara National reserve is a vast 1510 sq km savanna grassland and is known to host the biggest population of wildlife and no matter where you drive in the Mara you are sure to see wildlife, dinner and overnight at Ashnil mara camp
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out, drive slowly as you view wildlife until you exit the gate and drive back to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch at a local restaurant, you will arrive in Nairobi in the early evening hours
